In the 1950s, it was built in the 1950s. t. According to legend, father and son quarreled, and the father told the son : “Take an inch of land, go and live by yourself.” the current village was approved by the son. he founded a village and named it Artiz. He emigrated from the Van region of Western Armenia, and the other part — from the Kamo district. a school building was built in the village, which served as a center of education not only for the village, but also for 4 nearby villages and still serves as a school building. almost the entire population was relocated, and 7 families remained in the village. Currently, the village has 126 parishes, a new school building is being built. the settlement is completely buried among green gardens, has constant gravity drinking and irrigation water. the main occupation of the population is agriculture and cattle breeding. The architectural complex of the monastery was mainly built in the 13th century, it included the main church with an attached porch, a rock, two churches, a chapel-tomb, cells, walls and guest houses. in the middle of the Geghard monastery, Prince Prosh buys from the Zakarians and proceeds to build a vimapornaya church, which ends in 1230-1250 . back in the middle of the 8th century, a scientist, singer, musician Grigor Gozik /Ayrivanets, educated in Athens, lived and worked here/: The scientific and educational life of the monastery began to become more active in the 13th century under the vardapets Hovhannes Garnetsi and the historian-scientist Mkhitar Ayrivanetsi:
